Born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, I was raised and educated in Dartmouth,MA. Upon graduation I proudly served my country for 3 years in the U.S. Army (aviation). Eighteen months were served in South Vietnam. I earned a Bachelor of Arts from Barrington College and a Master of Education from Bridgewater State College.

I retired from the New Bedford Public Schools after 32 years which spanned from teacher to administrator. My involvement in education included a term as a director of a private school and as an elected member of the Westport, Massachusetts school committee. I was actively involved in business ventures including commercial fisheries (lobster) and sales and instalation of domestic and commercial water systems.

In May, 2002 with a newly acquired Florida real estate sales license I embarked upon a new career. Since that time I have had an opportunity to meet and assist many wonderful people with their Florida real estate needs and dreams.       I was born, raised and educated in New Bedford, Massachusetts.

      My family had a diary business (pick up, process and home delivery of milk products) that I worked in from about age 13 until I left home. This was a wonderful opportunity in that it taught me the basics of running a business and customer focus.

       I graduated from what is now known as University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth with a BS degree in Textile Technology. I immediately went to work for DuPont and enjoyed a career spanning 36 years with several different business units. The last 22 years of my career involved providing technical service to DuPont's world wide direct customers, from my base in Richmond, VA. It was this experience that honed my interpersonal relationship skills and customer focus, which will be an asset for the real estate business. I retired in 2004.

      Between my wife and I, we have 6 children and 14 grandchildren.

      My wife, Joyce, and I purchased our first Florida home late in 2004 for the purpose of having a place to spend the winter months. We moved to Port Charlotte, Florida in June of 2006.

      I enjoy golfing, boating, walking the beach searching for shark teeth and photography.
